Oak Park Trustee Susan Buchanan Tells White Trustees & Palestinian Mayor to “Shut Up!” Because They Are White Men

This local “debate” in Oak Park is absolutely insane, but it is becoming the norm in the US, from the local level all the way up to the state and federal level. In fact, it’s happening all around the White world.
White men are supposed to “shut up” and listen when a discussion of oppression is taking place. White men should have no opinion whatsoever on the matter, even when they have been elected to speak at such meetings.
This woman, Susan Buchanan (who appears to me to be a crypto jew) was absolutely livid, shouting and pointing her finger, because some “White men” did not automatically approve Oak Park’s Community Relations Commission recommended amendments to their diversity statement.
Buchanan told fellow trustees Dan Moroney and Deno Andrews:
You have been white from birth. Why are you arguing what is a system of oppression? You’ve never experienced one, so shut up! I don’t want to hear from you! Just stop Dan, just stop Deno. You are not oppressed and people in Oak Park and we are trying to recognize that as a community.”
These comments were followed by a raucous round of applause from the crowd.
White men apparently do not understand what systems of oppression are, even though we face racial discrimination every time we apply for a college, job, or government benefits.
I’m so tired of hearing two white men tell us what systems of oppression are. This is like if you guys wanted to tell us what it’s like to have a menstrual cycle.”
Susan also took aim at the mayor of Oak Park.
This mayor and this board is obviously not willing to face history. We have a chance to make history. It is time for this community to face equity. Enough! And you stop it! You are a white male! You stop it, you are a white male!”
Now here’s the kicker, Oak Park Mayor Anan Abu-Taleb is not a White male. He is a Palestinian immigrant. However, this fact did not matter one bit to Susan, who told him:
Your skin is light enough. Stop it!”
Yep, a Palestinian man has no idea about oppression. Sure thing, Susan.
One of the craziest things about the video is how little resistance Susan gets from the men she is berating. These cowards do not stand up for themselves whatsoever. The closest we get is when Moroney told Buchanan:
I think if we reduce these conversations to ‘nobody cares because you are a white male,’ I don’t think we’re doing this right.”
They should have really gone on the offensive. They could have told her to shut the hell up, because “her skin is light enough” and therefore she should have no say in the matter, according to her logic. They could have called her out for being the anti-White piece of garbage that she is, using the “racist” word liberally when describing her attitudes and actions toward White people.
Susan is in an interracial relationship, as can be seen from her campaign website, which she seems to think grants her the right to speak on behalf of all “people of color” who have been oppressed by the system of “White supremacy” in the US. The first text on her website indicates that her whole agenda is focusing on “social justice” for non-Whites.
I’m running for village trustee because I believe in the history and, even more so, the promise and potential of Oak Park. Our village needs courageous, pragmatic, enlightened leadership to ensure that affordable housing, racial equity, and environmental sustainability are our top priorities.
