Writing on Twitter, Dale asked whether these have been the “worst two days of the shutdown for Trump,” before proceeding to list off all the political calamities that have befallen the president since Tuesday.
Has this been the worst two days of the shutdown for Trump? Public complaints from FBI agents, former DHS chiefs and Coast Guard commandant; tone-deaf Ross/Lara Trump/Kudlow; terrible poll numbers out; Pelosi wins speech standoff; first official defections from Senate GOP...
During an earlier appearance on MSNBC, Dale also argued that the multiple clueless statements by Trump officials about the impact of the shutdown show that the White House lacks a coherent messaging strategy for its own self-inflicted crisis.
