Trump echoes the rhetoric of mosque gunman in shocking White House tirade

According to reporters in the press pool about to observe Donald Trump sign his veto of a bill halting his emergency declaration, the president was asked about the New Zealand massacre only to launch an attack on immigrants.
Toronto Star reporter Daniel Dale tweeted, “Trump called the terror attack a ‘horrible, horrible thing and said he called the PM to convey US ‘sorrow,’ then turned to ‘crimes of all kinds coming through our southern border. He added, ‘People hate the word invasion, but that’s what it is.'”
Meredith McGraw of ABC confirmed the report, tweeting, “.@TerryMoran reporting for pool on Trump’s remarks from inside the Oval Office: ‘Will veto this reckless resolution—and that’s what it was…We’re on track for a million people rushing our borders…People hate the word invasion but that’s what it is.'”
